**Alfond Youth & Community Center Announces Continued Participation in USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program**
**Waterville, Maine** — August 29, 2024 — The Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC), located at 126 North Street, Waterville, Maine, is proud to announce its participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Through this program, the AYCC will provide nutritious meals at no separate charge to all children enrolled in its childcare programs.
The CACFP is a vital initiative aimed at ensuring that all children have access to healthy and balanced meals. By participating in this program, the AYCC is reinforcing its commitment to the well-being and health of the youth in our community. The meals provided meet the USDA nutritional standards and contribute to the overall development and growth of the children we serve.
In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the AYCC is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
