Maine Pond Hockey Classic Adjusts Schedule Due to Incoming Storm
SIDNEY, MAINE – In response to an incoming storm expected on Sunday, the Maine Pond Hockey Classic (MPHC) has adjusted its schedule to ensure a smooth and exciting tournament experience for all participants and spectators.
Revised Schedule Updates:
  • MPHC Division Play remains as scheduled Friday evening and Saturday during the day
  • MPHC Playoffs: Now taking place Saturday evening under the lights. Volunteers are needed for these time slots to help make the event a success.
  • Ice Golf: Will remain on Saturday, and slots are still available for those interested in participating.
  • Inclusion Division Skate: Rescheduled to Saturday from 5:15 PM – 6:45 PM, during the game break before playoffs. Youth are welcome to skate during this time as well.
“We appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we adjust our schedule to accommodate the weather while ensuring an incredible weekend of hockey and community fun,” said Patrick Guerette, Chief Operating Officer of the AYCC, and Tournament Director for the Maine Pond Hockey Classic. “We encourage players, volunteers, and spectators to join us under the lights for an unforgettable playoff atmosphere on Saturday night.”
